BTS Top Billboard Main Albums Chart for Six Months

The group BTS has continued to top Billboard's main album chart for six months.

According to the latest chart released by Billboard, a U.S. music media outlet, on the 11th (August 15), BTS's fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," released on February 21, ranked 64th on the Billboard 200 chart. BTS has been at the top of the Billboard 200 chart for 24 consecutive weeks since it first entered the chart on March 7.

"MAP OF THE SOUL : 7" has swept the top charts in a number of charts, including the main album chart, No. 2 on the "World Albums" chart, No. 9 on the "Independent Albums" chart, No. 13 on the "Top Album Sales" chart, No. 12 on the "Test Maker Album" chart, and 15 on the "Test Maker Album" chart. The song "Jet Lag" from "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" topped the "World Digital Song Sales" chart, while "Filter" ranked third on the "World Digital Song Sales" chart and 27th on the "Canadian Digital Song" chart.

LOVE YOURSELF 'Answer', released in August 2018, also ranked 164th on the Billboard 200 chart, up seven notches from the previous week, ranking third on the World Albums chart, 25th on the Independent Albums chart, and 52nd on the Top Album Sales chart.

Released in April 2019, "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" ranked fifth on the "World Albums" chart, 25th on the "Top Current Album Sales" chart and 33rd on the "Top Album Sales" chart.

BTS will release its digital single 'Dynamite' to the world at the same time on the 21st. Attention is focusing on whether the new song, which is an English lyrics, will set another record on the Billboard single chart "Hot 100."
